bitlocker

I have an sbs2008 with 2 * 160gb sata drives in an onboard nvidia nforce raid.
Have installed bitlocker but encryption of c stays at 0%.
event viewer reports 24612- Metadata commit: Metadata update could not be flushed.
it appears that bitlocker may not work with raid. is there any way to resolve this?
