BIT for BCM50

Is there any way to image a BCM50 drive? I assume I can't use the BIT as the 50 has no monitor or keyboard connectors, unless I use USB versions of them.

yes use Acronis v9 software and set it to sector by sector backup...

Don't really know, but isn't the image stored on the bcm? You might be able to just put the drive in and do a level 2 reset.
