How to get bios version info without rebooting server?Thanks.

Short of using a Compaq util, Windows Winmsd util only provides the BIOS date and the not the BIOS type

You can get this information from Insight Manager

or via the Surveyor Utility if it's installed - and it's worth installing.

Look in C:\Compaq\Survey\Survey.txt for the result of the last surveyor scan.
