bios upgrade

Typically each motherboard vendor has a utility to flash the BIOS. You have to go to the website of the manufacturer to find the BIOS files you can download and the flash program. You put both on a FLOPPY Disk and flash the BIOS. Some vendors have programs that will run from inside Windows.
Flashing the BIOS can cause the motherboard to be unusable. Care must be taken when doing this, so only flash the BIOS if you have to.
The PC Chips Motherboards are not known for their high quality. At best they are a bargain basement brand. If you can get the motherboard to work without flashing the BIOS then I would not recommend it unless you have a definite lack of performance.
