Does any one know how to update and where can i get update for the above mentioned bios??

Many motherboards use this chip. You need to find the maker of your motherboard (Belarc Advisor), and go to that site. They will have the upgrade file, and instructions on how to do your computer. Why do you want to upgrade it? If it's working, leave it alone. You should only upgrade if the upgrade has features you need.

I want to upgrade it because it is not supporting 40GB HDD. HDD is fine bcoz it is working on other computers. Is there a way to find Motherboard?? I know this is foolish question but i don't remember and it is very old PC. I got only this data.

I forgot how to flash the BIOS. after you download the zip file you will have two files, the .BIN and awdflash.exe.
Next you need to create a bootable floppy. I usually use the MS-Dos 6.22 boot disk from ... and delete all files from it except msdos.sys, io.sys, and command.com ... then copy the .BIN and awdflash.exe files to it. Other boot disks will work too, but I prefer to have the absolute minimum of drivers running when flashing a BIOS. ASet your current BIOS to boot from floppy, and write down the filename for the .BIN file before you start (because you will need to type it during the flash process). When your PC boots, awdflash.exe will automatically run. Follow the instructions VERY CAREFULLY.

I can confirm you are right as to the mobo, i have 1 of these. I recoznized it right away.

They will take a P2 cpu slot one up to 400 or 450, but they wont take P3, i am pretty sure.
