bios error after power failure 1

Every time power failure occurs, the Bios halt at the error message screen saying:-

0061 CPU Clock Mismatch
0072 CMOS Checksum Error
0006 Equipment Configuration Error

Press Ctrl_Alt_Esc key to enter Setup or F1 to continue...[/highlight]

Is your BIOS battery ok? Providing you get rid of the error message by going into the BIOS and reconfiguring it, I would suggest that your BIOS battery is dead and you need to get a new one. The error occurs because the BIOS is reset as a result of the lack of power and has lost the configuration.

You will probably find that the same occurs if you physically unplug the PC from the power supply.
