binding recordset values to a multiple choice list box

i have a field which has multiple choice values which were chosen from a list box .
how can i automatically select these on my update form?

i use dreamweaver mx..

--what? I would like to see this thing what ever it is
1. i have a field = in the DB?
2. which has multiple choice values = so one field in the DB stored multiple string? (eg. [books,shoes,tables] all in the single field in the DB?)
