Binding Formulas to Text Fields at Runtime

Hi,
I am dynamically adding field objects to reports at runtime. Is it possible to bind these new fields to an existing report formula?

I have a formula that determines whether a field font should be bold....I want to apply that same formula to the "new" field object at runtime.
