Hi all,
I have a domain name that is hosted by my ISP on BIND DNS servers, i have the requirement to create an SRV record where the host offering the service is in another domain, as per the feedback from the ISP that this cannot be achieved as the domain name of the zone will be appended like in the example below:

_sip._tls.abc.com should point to xyz.com but when the record is created the NSLOOKUP result shows that the host is xyz.com.abc.com

he says that when he checked the DB file of the zone the record didn't contain the trailing "abc.com"

any tips on how we can achieve this, i have already made this scuccessfully before on Windows DNS and with other DNS hosts.

Regards
Amr
