Hi everybody,
i have a network interface card with a fixed ip address.
For example 10.0.0.2/24. On this NIC i have also a virtual ip adress configured as a alias on the same subnet. For example 10.0.0.3/24.
How can i configure, that outgoing traffic use only the 10.2.0.2 address as source adress ?
Is this possible with metrics or routing tables ?
How can i configure this ?
thanks a lot for any ideas !

Can you plz view your ifconfig -a just to clarify your need?

Thx

Can be done with static route (or routes) I believe.

Other option is ipfilter (NAT software) which can be installed on AIX.
