I need convert a Binary file to ASCII file, but I need format Outpout ASCII file. Someone have any application to do that?

That depends a great deal on how your binary file is formatted and what you wanted to get out of it. There is a command called [tt]od[/tt] (for Octal Dump) that can convert binary files to their ASCII representations. See the man page.

Also, if you're just looking for ASCII text within a binary file, the command [tt]strings[/tt] can give you that.

Otherwise, it depends a great deal on the format of your binary file. I'd need to know more about that.

Hope this helps.

Deal on the Binary file

The binary file have some fields, and each of them fields (octets) differ size in bytes per field. Then i wish setup the info file. ie.

Octet # 0 --> 3 bytes 0 to 2
Octet # 3 --> 2 bytes 3 to 4
Octet # 5 --> 8 bytes 5 to 12
