/bin/id corrupted

I installed MySQL and some related component seems to have corrupted my 'id' files. Whenever I open a shell I get
"bash: /bin/id: Permission denied"
"bash: [: too many arguments"

I checked every copy of my 'id' file and they all say:
"Stopping MYSQL: ^[[60G[^[[0;31mFAILED^[[0;39m]"

Please help. Thanx.
