Has anyone experienced this. User A and user B both printed billing invoices at about the same time and A's invoice printed on B's printer and B's invoice printed on A's printer.
We're running 7.6.300a -SQL on windows server 2003 and XP at the workstation. User B is in a different building connected by a point to point wireless connection.
Neither user has the other user's printer defined on their machine so neither could have chosen the wrong printer.

That would be a new one on me.

Not that it will make any difference, but for clarificatin purposes what type of billing are you talking about? OE Invoices or AR Service Invoices?

If you find out what is causing this, please post the answer and resolution.

By chance were they ever swapped jobs or buildings in the past? Curious question. I may have a solve but would like your answer first.

Thanks

It was OE billing.
I'm not sure what you mean by "were they ever swapped jobs". We just moved the one group to a new building. Until then we had always been in the same building.
Now the user in the new building has told me that they've received several invoices that they didn't print. Also when it happened yesterday they clicked "NO" when asked if it printed ok thinking if they reprinted it would print correctly. Even though they still saw the invoice they wanted to print, when it reprinted, it again reprinted the one from the other building.
I don't know if this would have anything to do with it, but all the printers in the original building have fixed ip addresses. When we installed the printer/fax/copier in the new building we allowed it to receive it's ip thru dchp as recommended by the installation software. I think I may give it a fixed ip and see if it keeps happening (it is the only printer setup to this way).

Is the remote building running Citrix or Terminal services?

No, we're not running citrix or terminal services.

I would either
1. Have them re-choose the printer at print time hitting the save default button.

2. If that does not work I would initialize the PRTDFT file in the system menu. Somewhere the default printer has been confused for these users. Especially since they used to be together.
