bigasm doesn't work on Windows 2000

I have followed the steps outlined in the Legato Performance Tuning document regarding bigasm and it does not work under a Windows 2000 environment (Windows 2000 for both the NetWorker 7.1.2 and storage node). Would appreciate your assistance. Thank you in advance.

The steps I followed were:

1. Create a directive file called bigasm.file, that contains the following command:
bigasm -S6G: bigfile
2. Save the file using the NetWorker server.
save -v -f bigasm.file bigfile

There is no 6GB backup on the NetWorker server. For reference, the output of the "save" command is:

- Rename your bigasm file to nsr.dir and place it in the directory where bigfile resides.
- Create bifgile with whatever contents
- Then simply run "save \pathname\bigfile

NW shall detect the local directive file and act appropriately.
