Hi,

If this is not the proper area for this post, please redirect me, as I need a lot of help about this.

One of my users deleted a very important .pst file. It was approx. 600 MB to 1 GB and it was stored in her computer (don't ask why). As you may know, when treating big size files, Windows some times doesn't put it in the recycle bin but deletes it "forever".

A long time ago, we bought two data recovery programs: Easy Recovery Pro (Ontrack) and GetDataBack. None of them worked with this problem... any ideas?? Help is urgently needed!!

Well... I finally managed to recover the file. Problem now is corrupted data: I used Easy Recovery Pro to fix the .pst, but it only manages to recover 20 or 30 messages from a total of thousands of them. Is it possible that the recovered file contains a lot of garbage even though I could recover it completely?
