hi all
i have a big problem with windows time
my domain it's 2000 native mode with all dc running 2000 e some member servers running 2003.
all the DC clocks are syncronized trough the pdc emulator (authoritative time server) and all work fine
the pdc emulator also entertains all fsmo roles
As you know clients and member servers received the time from the DC that it authenticates them.
But for the 2003 member servers if the authentication server it's the pdc emulator (authoritative time server)
the synchronization fails with events 38 them 24 them 29.
Also if I set manually the ntps in the registry the synchronization fails with the same events as above.
But if the authentication server it's another DC everyting works fine and if I set manually in the registry another dc as ntps server also work fine
I have already read all faq about it without resolution.
any suggest ?
thanks very much for your time
