Big problem with Content Advisor 1

A while back, I suddenly found it impossible to permanently disable Content Advisor. Everytime I launch IE (version 5.00.2314.1003CO), I receive a message saying, "Please check your Content Advisor for missing information. Click the Tools menu and then click Internet Options. On the Content tab, check the Content Advisor settings."

I do this, EVERY TIME IE is launched. After viewing the settings, I am able to disable Content Advisor. I am not able to disable Content Advisor unless I first view the settings, and if I do disable Content Advisor, it expires at the end of that browser session.

This is a terrible nuisance, as I have to do this EVERY stinkin' time I launch IE. I am afraid I have inadvertently deleted a dll or registry key somewhere that affects Content Advisor, but I have no idea what to do about it. I am unable to uninstall IE, thanks to the wonderful people at Microsoft. I have tried running setup to reinstall the program, but it does no good.

I would be forever grateful to anyone who could help me with this problem. Oh, and I'm running Windows 98 if it matters.

Thanks in advance, :)
James

I found the Content Advisor question in the FAQ and tried deleting that thing in the registry. It worked! And to think all this time the problem was so simple.

Anyway, sorry for wasting space on this board. Thanks to whomever posted that solution in the FAQ - you made my day!
