BIG Problem w/ Exchange - Please Help !!!!

Trying to recover form the worst crash you can possibly imagine.
a) No backup
b) No documented history on server
c) No one locally to assist me with this
d) No experience with this
e) too long a list to continue ...

I had to format my c: and re-installed OS and exchange. Now, I am trying to get it finalized but there is not option on

Start/All Programs

to access Exchange at all. I tried mmc and opening Exchange System Manage.msc found in d:\program files\exchsrvr but mmc gives me error

MMC Could not create the snap-in

I am reaching levels one cannot appreciate and I really have to get this server up and running today!

I do not mind the long hours and the struggle (I know I will take something with me) but I keep on hitting brick wall after brick wall.

IMPORTANT: I installed exchange using /DisasterRecovery switch (Not sure if this would make a difference).

I have installed SP1

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated !!!!

If you formatted C but also used /DR, did you have a D with the Exchange stuff on it? did you install Exchange to the same place as previously?
