Big Mistake in large GL Entry - Automatic reverse possible??

We have a brand new staff in our Acctg Dept and we suspect that someone on his first day may have accidentally updated a very large GL transaction that someone previously here had entered but not updated.

Is there an automatic utility that we can run that basically says "reverse this big batch." So it just is gone?

Or must we do a reversing GL Entry. It's not that we are lazy (exactly) but if we could do a "nevermind" everyone would like that, especially the new people who made the mistake.

I would suggest exporting the entry out, reversing the signs, then importing it back in.

Thank you. I had already done the work to do this. I think the CPA really wanted this to be "gone" and I said I would ask.
