bgsound issue w/ mp3

I'm not sure which forum to post this, but here goes. I have an Mp3 sound file which sounds perfect when I play it in my wav editor, but when I place it in my web page, there is a gap in the loop

it [the browser] has to buffer mp3 sound every time the track is played. that means that even though it has been buffered once (the delay before it starts playing) and youre running a loop, it buffers again to re-play the file.

If you want a [seeminly] continuous loop, convert your mp3 file to a .wav and use that instead. unfortunately wav files are large... that is to say theyre HUGE and therefore will take longer to load at first compared to the mp3.
