Hi All,
I have been unable to start BGP session in 2500 series and kept getting the following error messages.
routerA(config)# router bgp 40
routerA(config)# ---> it doesn't switch to router configuration mode.
and when I check the logfile this is what I found
00:05:25 % Sys-2-MallocFail = Memory allocation of 65496 bytes failed from 0x319FD68, pool processor alignment 0
-Process = "Exec", ipl = 0, pid = 2
-Traceback = 31A1C52 31A3330 319FD70 319FF86 33209F8 333BE8E
3253252 3253782 214A7D4 315DCD1
Any clue..and Why is Malloc able to allocate memory space for OSPF and other routing protocols and not for BGP in the same Router. I have another router same type but able to configure BGP without any problem
Regards
Baria.
