I'm using 2 BGAN terminals in order to connect 2 distant PC's. both of the PC's run a client-to-client software. so far so good.
now, I wanna add a softphone on one side and add a cisco 2821 with FXO port on the other end (already have the equipment and licenses).
the final configuration should be this:
(PC with softphone) - (BGAN terminal) - [BGAN network] - (BGAN terminal) -(2821) - (PC)
the problem is, the BGAN network has its own addresses, and in order to send data to a specific terminal, the destination address needs to be that of the target terminal. in that case, the client-to-client application on the PC would not work (it has a different address than the BGAN terminal), because its behind the router, and has different address than that of the BGAN terminal.
Is there a way to configure the 2821 router to work with the BGAN network and support both the client-to-client application and act as a server for the softphone?
thank you!
