where do you find the part # for the bft replacement (green capacitors), I've got the bft pulled, cant' find a part # to match Nortel's list of included bft.

The only part # i can find on the motherboard is NT7b1003, it's not on Nortel's list but the capacitors are green and leaking. Anyone else run into this?

You use the Part number on the white tag on the back of the BCM. NT7B10AA or something similar to that. you also need the SN just above the Part # and there are 2 Dates on there also. I belive the Free replacement is only until 6/08

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Thanks Ace, I feel like an idiot, completely removed the motherboard from the bft looking for that #.

Are you able to get it repaired by Nortel?

Is the bft a simple swap, do I need to keep any parts from the original?

You need to swap the MSC Card as the new one doesn't come with one and also all your Keycodes are reg to the MSC SN.
