BFS Forward Magic

Has anyone ever heard of BFS keys magically forwarding themselves and know of a fix?
I have BFS keys on multiple 2616 sets that are doing this without any human interaction.
These phones are on a recently upgraded cs1000 from release 5.0 to release 7.6.
The problem has occurred before and after the upgrade.

Never heard of them forwarding themselves but it's not that hard to do it accidentally.
You can turn off the forwarding ability of the BFS keys:
LD 15
REQ: chg
TYPE: rdr
OPT fkd

I've confirmed this is not happening accidentally.
Also, I believe rdr data to be a global change so that's really not an option plus I need the forward feature that BFS provides.
This is really weird.

I confirmed that no forwarding was on before leaving for the weekend. No one was in the office while I was gone. I came in this morning to find several phones had forwarded themselves. Must be gremlins. Anybody have an idea on this?

You could start a trace on one of the sets?
LD 80
ENTC LL SS CC UU 2300
this is a continuous loop.
After the weekend check the logfile.
