Just installed BE 9.0 on a brand new server, 300gig, with HP 320SDLT drive. Was working fine until someone migrated 50gig to it. Backups failed. Tried running again, it passed the previous fail point and completed another 7 gig then did the same. After running about 7-8 backups, finally got a good backup.
Veritas event logs seem to report corrupt files, but the files aren't and still restore and open OK. Even tried the Reg tweak to not fail on finding corrupt data.
Now, the same person has just migrated another 100gig, and we have a new fail point at 42 gig on on of the new users. Just re-running again, and its past that point and continuing for now. No, just failed at 70 gig (Looks like I'm up all night again!)

Also have a problem with media size reporting. I'm using 220/320 Maxwell tapes. If I select Devices and select the tape media, it reports the tape as only 99gig capacity??

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Russ
