Hi all,
We're using Backup Exec for Windows Servers v9 on a windows 2000 advanced server based network. Remote agent has been correctly setup on the exchange server (exchange 5.5), and backups will complete, and verify correctly.
The problem is that all the attempted backups (with or without using AOFO) have been unable to complete successfully (i.e. Status is "completed", not "successful"), because of the following three exceptions:
Unable to open the item \\SERVER\C:\exchsrvr\DSADATA\temp.edb
Unable to open the item \\SERVER\C:\exchsrvr\imcdata\queue.dat
Unable to open the item \\SERVER\C:\exchsrvr\mdbdata\tmp.edb
If possible, could somebody please shed some light on these files -- are they files that _cannot_ be backed up, or is there some technique (stopping the exchange service for example?) that will allow us to get past this problem? Are they even required if we ever have to (god forbid!) do a full system restore?
Thanks in advance,
Andrew
