BE 12.5 running on Server 2003R2 box and the server being backed up is a VM, also Server 2003R2 (All SP2)
Was running the weekend full backups and everything else ran without significant issues; full job to disk array followed by D2T.
Checked the VI3 environment and no issues, checked the SAN environment, no issues.
It doesn't appear that the server was rebooted during the backup, but not 100% certain of that.
After the full job failed (It was ~99% complete) the D2T kicked off and copied that job to tape and failed with the same error number, but the description said "Unexpected end of data set encountered"
Scratching my head at this point.......
