Hi, Is there a better, tidier way of displaying report history? I have a report that runs once a month displaying production availability statistics for each month but when my users (snr mngt) look the the history within ePortfolio they get something resembling the following:

Instance Time: Run By: Parameters: Format: Status: Selected:
2/3/2005 2:34:49 PM gillonia eOrion Primetime Availability; DateTime( 2004, 12, 31, 0, 0, 0 ); eOrion Primetime Availability; DateTime( 2004, 12, 31, 0, 0, 0 ) Crystal Report Success
2/3/2005 2:34:31 PM gillonia eOrion Primetime Availability; DateTime( 2004, 11, 30, 0, 0, 0 ); eOrion Primetime Availability; DateTime( 2004, 11, 30, 0, 0, 0 ) Crystal Report Success
2/3/2005 2:34:09 PM gillonia eOrion Primetime Availability; DateTime( 2004, 10, 31, 0, 0, 0 ); eOrion Primetime Availability; DateTime( 2004, 10, 31, 0, 0, 0 ) Crystal Report Success
ETC

Is there any way to tidy this up, IE so they only see certain parameters (ie dates) ??

Thnx in advance for any suggestions.
Cheers, IanG

You can modify the .csp code. In CE9, that's history.csp. In CE10, it's rpthistory.csp. Things get more complicated if you want some users to see one history page and other users the default.

In rpthistory.csp, look for the statement icon = GetLinkPath() + "images/rptalert.gif";. It is near the top of a "for" loop, which ends just above the comment // CALCULATE PAGE LINKS. That will give you an idea of the kind of code you're looking at. (These may be the same strings used in history.csp.)

The history page is called from available.csp, which has access to the user name, so you could have conditional code calling different formats for different users. To make it conditional by group would take a new query against the APS/CMS database.
