I have had a look at the program but I am wondering what it might be used for when TAPI integration (like that in outlook) handles what this program appears to handle for the IPO?.

TAPI in outlook achieves what this program also does. My question is, how would your program be of any use?. It what circumstances would you implement your program? (I am not attempting to be rude, just trying to understand it's use??

Gotcha.

It is the basic version of what we will be releasing soon. It will incorporate a native chat client and Picture Caller ID function. It will also have the ability to scan web pages and any other XML compliant application for phone numbers and provide a context menu for you to dial from there with this app.

So really this is the first round of testing that will allow us to improve features and functions for all system types. Not just IP Office. We are also testing this with the CM TAPI Driver as well.

I would focus on the CM side of things as version 3 of the IPO has chat functionality, TAPI integration into a wide range of databases and products which is also customisable to an extent and does the porting of CLI to the app.

True but which you need third party apps to power them with. We are making all of ours native.

Chat needs Microsoft's Live Communication Server along with SQL which in itself is expensive.

We are making an alternative since the IPO is structured for Small to Medium sized businesses who most of the time can't afford or even want to invest into the MS LCS and SQL.

Our whole goal is to make a product that works with all telecom systems equally and not just single out certain systems.
