Im In New Zealand, and all clocks made in Flash 5 are all an hour or 2 hours fast!! I cannot find out how to fix the problem! Here is an example.
I think it is due to daylight savings time but I am not sure. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have had people try this clock from overseas, like Pakistan and Canada, and the time is fine there, just anyone here in NZ shows a different time.

Thanks

Well, works fine here in Montréal, Canada. What should I do move to NZ?
If it's 2 hours off can't you just substract 2 hours in the script?
Does you system time on the computer show the right time?

LOL... you could move here... heheheh

I could deduct 2 hours from the script, but then it would be wrong overseas. e.g. the clock you look at would be wrong

GREAT!!

the first link... the clock is fine
the second link... the clock is an hour fast

lol

Well maybe not so great! The first one is not a Flash clock!

So are you saying you're not using daylight savings time in NZ?

We do use daylight savings time here in NZ. Is there anyway to adapt that java clock to be used on a flash movie?

Could be... although I get the same time here from both!
So what might the point be?
Do you have a link to your clock's .fla or one to the orignal .fla?
Or can you e-mail it to me at oldnewbie@hotmail.com

that fla file is from the Macromedia Extentions page... go there, login/signup with a macromedia login. Then search for the Clock... theres 2 of them. Both of them dont work for me... as they display the time an hour fast. I can send it to you as im at work at the moment training Windows XP, gonna be here for another 4 hours.

OK.

Here is a list of which ones work.
1 - Yes
2 - No
3 - Yes
4 - No
5 - No
6 - No
7 - No
8 - No
9 - No
10 - No

Ive found a link!! the ones that work are made in Macromedia Flash 4!! Wonder why that happens?

Well use those!
And maybe upgrade to the Flash 5 player! LOL
BTW, what browser are thou using?

lol

I am using the latest upgraded flash 5 player... what i mean, is that the only ones that work, is the ones made in flash 4 not 5, the ones made in 5 are wrong. I am using IE and netscape... they display the same.

Well they're all the same to me here! That is right on the nose!
Is there a NZ triangle? Or maybe it's got something to do with magnetic fields or something! LOL

And my trip?

I would offer you a trip... lol... i need to win lotto first.

I think it is due to Daylight savings time.
