IP500 uppgrading 5.0 to 7.0.

I never seem to be able to figure out the best way to use the HTTP and TFTP server fields when upgrading phonefirmwares.
This time there will be about 30 phones with a mix between 5410, 5610, 3711, (now) 9508, 9608 (future) phones and I don´t have access to the DHCP server to use the options.
I figure pointing the http address to the IPO and the tftp address to the voicemail server where the manager has tftp server activated would work, but only for 5 h323 phones?

Any suggestions?

Yeah...manager has a limit of 5 TFTP session. Get a decent TFTP program from solarwinds or 3com (free), and disable the TFTP in manager.

You can use Avaya's MV-IPtel to load the files. You can find it on the support site under 46xx phone downloads.

Thanks! I´ll try solarwinds for tftp and IIS webserver for http this time and see how it goes.

Sagbag, mviptel can do it all.
It does tftp, ftp, http and https.
Much easier to maintain.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Ok, thanks Peter and FFrey, I´ll try that.
