Best way to send secure emails?

We are running Exchange 5.5 w/SP4 on a Windows 2000 Server w/SP3. Our HR folks want to send email out over the Internet, and want it to be secure.

Does anyone have a preferred way, e.g. using digital certificates or ?? Pointers on best of breed products and what I'll need to setup our Exchange server would be helpful.

I agree w/ FAM. In addition to McAfee, you might also check the PGP site at

http://www.pgp.com/

for their Enterprise product.
