Best way to see if backups worked

We're coming off of BackupExec, and its email notifications were very nice in taht it would email only if there was an error... I don't see that flexibility in TapeWare.

Furthermore, if we view the entire log, I can't seem to find that "magic word" to "Find" that will let me know if and what errors were encountered.

In short, I don't see a QUICK way to see if our backups completed successfully, and if not, how serious the error was. Any suggestions?
