I'm putting together a book where there are many illustrations (photos) in each chapter. What is the best, most efficient, way to provide captions? Should I use text boxes? When I do, I often have problems with spacing. Text wrap is not problem. My present approach is to move text to make room for photo and caption, place and position the photo, then create a text box with transparent frame lines. The text for the caption is placed in the box. Is there a better way?

Hello,
It sounds like you are using Pagemaker the best way to get the results you want.
Good luck
