Best way to name removable drives?

Pretty basic question:

I'm accustomed to using tapes, and we've always labeled the tapes Mon, Tue, Wed, etc.

We now have removable drives and we created a Removeable Backup to Disk folder on the first one (just getting started).

Therefore, at this point in time, in our heirarchy of drives and folders on the left, we have:

Removable Backup-To-Disk Folder 1 > FLDR000001

Here's my question: What portion of this should we name Mon, Tue, Wed, etc.? The Removable Backup-To-Disk Folder or the FLDR000001 portion?

And apologies if I've missed something entirely regarding removable disks... please advise.
