Hi all,
Typically I'm a very technical user, but when it comes to acrobat, well, I guess I'm just very inexperienced.
With my current position, I have to deal with a lot of paper contracts that typically originate in PDF format. The only thing that is keeping me from going completely digital with these documents is signing them.
What I've done is scanned in a jpeg of my signature and attempted to insert it in the appropriate area of the document.
For the life of me I can't get this to work properly. I generally attempt to copy and paste the image in. In the cases where I can paste, I can't resize it properly. In other cases the option to paste what's on the clipboard isn't lit up as an option.
I've also tried digitally signing. When I change the Security preference to insert my image, it takes. However, when I sign it doesn't display that image.
What I'm looking for is the best way to accomplish this. I have no clue if there is a better method. It seems to me that the above methods I'm using are appropriate but are just not working the way they should...or at least what seems logical.
I'd really appreciate any assistance anyone can give.
Thanks,
-nuts
