Best way to copy Excel report to Word in an editable format so that after copying in word lines /heading etc. can be added or deleted.

dvcf1n:
If you highlight a range and click copy in Excel then paste into a Word document, it will create a table. I have found it is better to set up the Word document first (orientation, margins, paper size, etc.) as the table will create to fit the page and it will be easier to adjust.

Hope this helps!

I agree with Desiree.

I found that the best font size was 8 point for your data, and a column width of 13 for your number columns.

Another option would be to remove Excel's "Grid lines" before copying/pasting.

You'll also need to insert page-breaks at the appropriate places once you've pasted the data into Word.
