Looking for ideas for batch converting 160000 small (100-200k) tif files to pdf. I am thinking the best way to do this would be a command line script to convert and save one at a time without opening the Adobe program. I know I can convert mulitiple files or directories from within Acrabat but would prefer a more hands off approach.

Thanks,
Ed Kale

Why not use the img2pdf command line (DOS) application? You can buy it for a few dollars.
I believe it is written using the iText pdf libraries but if you add up all the time and cost that it would take to build the equiv it so worth it.
I think that you can download a demo version too.

Hope this helped you,
Klaz
