Hello all, I am installing new Expansion cabinet on a BCM400 4.0 with 2 DTM Modules and 1 DSM32. The current BCM400 has a DSM32 Module using bus 2, 8X16 Module using buses 3 and 4, ADID8 module using bus 5, and DSM32 module using bus 6.
I think one of the DTM modules will use bus 7 but I am not sure what to give the other DTM and the DSM32, and would it be any problems having both DTMs in the expansion cabinet. I might have a problem moving the modules from the main cabinet to the Expansion cabinet because the cables are not long enough. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

U only have one bus available (bus 7) which means u can only add one card. Why not have telco migrate the analog DIDs to the pri so u can replace the ADID w/ either the DSM or one of the DTMs.

Couldn't you change the ADID module to use the same Bus as the 8 analog from the 8x16?

yes you could move the ADID to the 2nd half of the 8x16 bus, but you will still only have 2 busses. Time to upgrade to a 450.

Thank you all. We going to replace the ADID8 with DTM MOD and port the numbers, and replace the 8X16 with DSM32. Thanks again.
