Hello,
My boss told a client yesterday that we have a secure web site and can accept American Express (before asking me if we could do it, of course), so now I need to get something up and running. I did a quick check at the Apache site for SSL (I'm running Apache on a linux box) and it looks like it will get the job done, but I'm wondering what would be the best method for a box hosting four domains already. Does SSL add a lot of overhead? I'm considering getting a box that connects between the NIC of the webserver and our ISP to use SSL (Packeteer offers the AppCelera ISX ( I'm not sure of any others), and adding a second NIC to the server for the SSL domains. Has anybody had a similar experience?

check my faq in this forum for some info on stting it up in linux.
