What do you guys think would be the best vpn solution in my case? I have a dental office and would like to go in remotely through my dsl connection and log onto a terminal server. What is the best VPN router out there that is less than $300? Linksys? Netgear? Please let me know the best and most secure one.

You don't need a router for that. If there is already a terminal server onsite, configure it to be a VPN server as well. Then forward the appropriate ports through the router at the dental office...

I don't like to open terminal services to the public, I question M$ security...not that I suggest they have any security flaws.

I'd suggets a Netgear product (FVS318) or such (not a pass-thru VPN router but a hardware-VPN host device.) You make a connection to the device (no extra load on the server) and then login to the TS.

Actually I didn't mean terminal in over the Internet, but connect via VPN to the server. The create the TS session within the tunnel...
