Hi,
I have a work colleague who's son is at university. His room is just out of range of the wireless network (in his hall of residence) whilst using a Belkin wireless card (I think it was a PCMCIA card) in conjunction with his laptop. Would a USB wireless adaptor be a good alternative or something else? If USB, are there any known adaptors that are successful at picking up a weaker signal or have a longer aerial etc.?
Your thoughts would be very much appreciated as I do not have a lot of knowledge in this area.
