1) Read the question, read the answers.
2) Read the question again eliminate wrong answers.
3) Read the question again determine answer.
(Why this and NOT that, etc.)
4) Read the question again double check everything.
(take your time)
5) Select answer and move on.

I bet those of you that did not pass by a couple of points were thrown off by a couple of questions that you did not read EVERYTHING carefully!

They are not only testing your Cisco knowledge but you ability to pay attention to detail. This is a critical skill for Network Engineering.

I was amazed how many questions had subtle tricks in them.

I was the first in my Network Academy class to pass and told everyone that same advice. I mean literally read everything 3-4 times... and they all came back and said it was great advice.

I sounds real simple but in practice not everyone truly takes their time.

I only had about 10 minutes left when I finished and was not sure how I did. I scored a 956.

The reason I didn't know how I did was they asked questions like pick the best 3 out of 5 answers and I thought they all looked good. So I didn't know if I got all of them or half, etc.

Good Luck!

Excellent advice...

The CCNA test I took (V2) had a number of *which command does X*

You would see the command and click it not catching that the prompt was missing the # and was using the > when you needed to enabled.. ouch!!! Attention to details..
