I have a laptop and would like to keep the 'my documents' folder synchronised with my desktop over the network - what's the easiest way to do this? (Preferably free!)

Cheers!

Phew!... I've seen the 1st and 3rd before, just wondering if you can fill me in a bit on the pros and cons of each... I have a feeling the 1st two might be more suitable for synchronising loads of folders like all my documents?

I've been using Syntoy for about 4 months to sync my desktop and laptop and love it. No issues whatsoever.

Wow... the list continues!... erm anyone actually tried more than one? :)

... Hmmm I guess not!... OK my ideal features would include-

1. Detects folder / file renaming (so it doesn't have to copy over 2GB of video if you change the name of the video folder)

2. Detects changes and then synchronises (I don't know if this is practical but it seems like a nice idea)

3. Easy to set up and becomes almost invisible when running (so I can just forget about it!)

Does you app of choice do all or some of these?
