I am getting some errors in the Event Viewer on my Crystal Enterprise server (Crystal Enterprise 9). The errors are: "Cannot write to cache folder. The problem can be solved by increasing the size of the cache."
I was using the default 5000 kBytes but I am not sure what to move up to. Any rule of thumb here?

Thanks,
Bessebo

Hi,
Assuming windows..
Stop and restart the cache server - that should clear any existing contents...Try the failing report again..

If still getting the error, then increase ( try doubling, depending on server space/memory)..

( In our system - BOEXI R2 - we have 2 cacheservers in a 2 machine cluster, each has 256M - probably too big, but has avoided getting any errors)

The error has already gone away but I don't want it to recur. I will probably just double it. Thanks for your help.
