Just looking for a bit of advice for best make/model of printer for printing transparancys as I am having major problems with my colour QMS magicolor jamming.
Dunno' where in the world you are, but a humidifier goes a long way to easing jamming/sticking woes...paper and transparencies. Static electricity is the enemy...in fact some ppl even use static guard spray on the edges (very lightly of course)
Ive seen someone try to make a transparency and have it stick to a hot drum of a copy machine. Yuck! If you do not like my post feel free to point out your opinion or my errors.
I owned a print/copy shop for years. Transparencies will work in a copier/laser printer/inkjet IF that device says it will accept them and IF you use transparencies specially made for these machines.
Some manufacturers, like Canon, make a special transparency for their copiers at grossly inflated prices. However, I always had great success with "generic" transparencies that were built for lasers/copiers. Inkjet printers need a special type of transparency as well.
