This is really a multi-part question, but what is/are the best practices for establishing user accounts?

We have a few select users in a remote domain that we wish to have access a custom-built application that is published on our Citrix/Metaframe server. Can these users be placed in a group, and be given access to the app?

The custom app uses SQL Server as a database. Do we have to identify each user from the remote domain to the SQL server, or may we refer to the group?

If we want the users to be able to email forms that are generated by the custom app, do we need to install outlook on the Citrix Server?

Thank you in advance.

If a domain trust exists then you can just create a group I would do this. It makes admin easier as well you don't have to keep changing acls and modifying users etc etc you can just add them to a group and then remove them at will.
