I've been tasked with implementing an SNMP Gateway/Proxy for a number of devices that do not have SNMP capability.
My question is somewhat high level - what's the best way to represent these devices within an organized MIB tree? Does a standard practice already exist? I can give more details if needed.
Particularly, I'd like to implement as much of the MIB-II System Group before venturing into the Private tree, but from what I can see it looks like MIB-II only caters to single devices. Am I missing something here?
