Best practice query for Diverts 1

Can anyone give us a "Best Practice" method for setting up diversions.

I have a small office, 4 users, IP-403(2.0[18]).
I want a permanent call flow as such:
Main number -> Rings Reception,
Overflows to a Ring Group(3 users),
Overflows to a external number.
I want the external number to be easily changed on the handset (2030).

...problem I am having is Divert/Forward Immediate has to be activated, but this then takes the user out of the initial Ring group...

 
create a "Phantom" user & use this for the off switch divert
you can change the divert desstination by temporarily loging on to this user at any ext

To log on using the default short codes dial
*35*<user NO>*LoginCode#

alternatively you could use PhoneManager or VMPro
