Hi I'm not sure if this if the correct forum to post this question but hopefully someone can help or direct me to the right forum.
Essentially this is my problem, we send a large volume of mail through our Windows 2000 server every day. One of of clients who has there own dedicated ip is having issues sending mail to AOL email addresses and also hotmail addresses.
We believe they have been blacklisted by AOL and so we are in the process of having them white listed, and we are not sure about hotmail.
We have noticed also recently that they have been receiving a large volume of delayed delivery notififcations when sending to AOL and Hotmail.
Can anyone advise of an appropriate solution or change to the servers setup to better manage bulk email delivery to avoid being blacklisted and to reduce the amount of delayed delivery reports.
Also just another quick question does anyone know of a way to check if a mail box actually exists before sending a mail.
Thank in advance
